Snow and car trouble!

Yesterday Jimmy took the boys to the farm in my van and when he got back he said the van was acting up. Just great, now I am stuck with no vehicle. Hopefully it will not cost too much to fix. I did get a bunch of presents wrapped yesterday while the boys were gone.

This morning I woke up to a ton of snow! The kids were excited and can't wait to play in it. The boys and I will go out after Jenna goes down for a nap. I want to get the toys cleaned up in the yard before we really get snow dumped on us. I will let the boys play and shovel a little while I work on that.

Our trip to see Santa!

Santa is at the mall already, so we decided to take the kids to see him. We got there around 1 p.m. and of course there is a sign saying Santa will be back at 2. Not good, considering spending an hour in a mall with a 1, 3, and 4 year old is not fun. First we went to the toy store where they had a Thomas track set up and let the kids play there for a while. They did great until it was time to leave and my 4 year kept stalling. Finally I had to go and just pick him up and take him out. He didn't throw a fit though so that was good for him. We then went and rode the overpriced rides they have. 75 cents to $1 for a minute ride. Then the kids ended up seeing the play area so we went over to let them play, I usually avoid this area at all costs but we were running out of things to do while waiting and we only had 15 more minutes so I let them play. They actually did great with the other kids. I have had issues in the past with Jaden not getting along well with other kids at the play area. Brady of course is always mister popular and found a little friend to play with right away. Finally it was time to see Santa! The kids were complaining they were hot because of running around and dropped themselves on the floor. I wasn't expecting a great picture because I figured the kids would be scared. I tossed Jenna up on his lap and she didn't cry but also was not a happy camper and tried to get away from him. Jaden and Brady would not sit on his lap but did stand next to him for a picture. The picture turned out better than expected with the boys smiling and Jenna not crying. I sure was happy to leave the mall after that, next year I will make sure to go on a weekday though because the weekends are so busy and I am just not one who likes a busy shopping experience. I only shop at Wal-mart during the week or late at night so I don't have to witness the madness. LOL!

I am such a bad influence on my daughter!

My biggest downfall financially is clothes shopping, I love love love to clothes shop for my kids. I especially love dressing my daughter and hope that she loves shopping as much as I do. I think she probably will. She is so funny, she loves clothes too and will run up to pick an outfit and will look in and run her hands across everything and say "mm mm" like she really has a big decision to make. Today she got into her laundry basket before I could put the clothes away and I go in to see her dressing herself. She had 4 different shirts thrown on, I forgot to grab my camera so no pictures of it. I guess she couldn't just pick one so she had to throw a bunch on.

Housework is never ending!

I did laundry all day yesterday and thought I was down to 1 load left. I do have one load left in my laundry room but after scanning the house I probably have another 1 or 2 loads that have been dropped through out the house. On a positive not, I love love my new dryer it dries way faster than my old one and it is huge! I did get all my dishes done yesterday but then I had to make dinner and now there is a ton to do again. I still need to unload the dishwasher from last night. This is my problem I never unload the dishwasher right away so instead of having a place to put the new dirty dishes they have to sit in the sink until I empty it. The boys are playing in the basement now so I should be working while I have the chance. I took pictures of my mess, If I get brave I will upload them.

My weight loss plan!

Ok, I have decided I am not even going to try a plan until after the holidays because I know I will want to eat all the goodies during this time. So my plan will be to start in the New Year! Here is a typical day for me now so you can see I will need major improvements!


Breakfast- Mello Yello

Lunch- Pizza

Supper- Spagetti, Garlic Bread

Snack- Vault with a little bag of cheetos

Tuesday!

I have so much to do today and do not know where to start. My house needs some major cleaning! The dishes and laundry are piled high. I just got a new dryer the other day so no more running to the laundry mat for me. Yeah! It is kind of a depressing day today! The boys are watching Wow Wow Wubsy and Jenna is napping. I should be working but decided to do this instead.

Christmas is almost here and the kids are so excited! Today Jaden was pretending to be Santa and pushing Brady around in his sleigh(our toy shopping cart). LOL Here the boys are watching Tv. Jaden still being Santa! I am so excited about Christmas this year. I have almost all my shopping done and will probably wrap some of it on Friday. The boys will be gone with Daddy to his parents farm for the day. I can wrap with Jenna because she isn't old enough to know whats going on yet. I think I will rent a Christmas movie to watch while I wrap. LOL I can't wait to put up decorations, Jimmy said I have to wait until after Thanksgiving at least. I also can't wait to make Christmas cookies, I bought a new cookie cutter for the occasion. It is a gingerbread house which I have never seen before. I feel like a Crazy Christmas Lady lately!
